Becoming a member of Yarrawood

Initial enquiries about Yarrawood and about membership should be directed to our Membership Secretary, or you may download and complete the Membership Form and post it to the Membership Secretary. The Annual Membership Subscription is $40 plus an initial Joining Fee of $5. Applicants will receive the current edition of the "Boot" newsletter, including the seasonal activity program, which is distributed bi-annually and the latest e-copy of "What's On", with the current month's program and other up-to-date Club news. The membership fee also covers the Club's Third-Party and Limited Personal Accident Insurance. Prospective new members and guests are very welcome to attend one or two of the Club's activities in order to meet members and see if we're suitable for you. However this will be at the discretion of the leader and may depend on the level of fitness, suitability of gear and previous experience of the applicant. Please contact the membership secretary in the first instance if you wish to try a walk with our Club. The Program provides an indication of the location, duration and level of difficulty of the activity. The Membership Secretary can provide contact details for the leader of the selected activity. Prospective members and guests are covered by the Club's Third-Party and Limited Personal Accident Insurance. Once you've joined the Club, you'll be given the Club Program with all our leaders' Contact Details, and instructions for joining future activities. |
